Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda has announced to break the old alliance and form a new alliance and has also relieved all the old ministers. Also, time has been sought from the President for swearing in of new ministers. Prime Minister Prachanda met President Ramchandra Paudel and gave him information about the changed political situation and handed over a letter to all the ministers relieving them of their posts. The Prime Minister said that in the new equation, the President has been requested to give time of 4 pm to the leaders of new parties to take oath. The old power equation included 10 ministers from the Maoist-led Nepali Congress, five from the Maoist, three from the NCP, two from the Janata Samajwadi Party, along with one minister each from the Loktantrik Samajwadi Party, Nagrik Immunkti Party and Janmat Party. Meanwhile, a small-sized cabinet is likely to be sworn in today itself. The parties involved in the new government have agreed to appoint one Deputy Prime Minister each. Among these, one leader each from Maoist, NCP, AML, Rashtriya Swatantra Party and JSP can take oath as Deputy Prime Minister.
